Joe Zajac is a Vice President of Velocity Sports & Entertainment. Joe started at Velocity in 1999 and has over 16 years of sports marketing and sponsorship experience from both the agency and property sides. While at Velocity, Joe has led several projects recommending sponsorship strategy and portfolio composition for past and current major clients. Joe is the engagement manager on the IBM business and also for FedEx's golf sponsorships, particularly the FedExCup.
Prior to Velocity, Joe worked in the U.S. Consulting division of one-time global sports heavyweight ISL Worldwide. While there, Joe managed the company's RCA Records and Bell Atlantic Mobile (now Verizon Wireless) accounts.
Prior to ISL, Joe spent several years as Assistant General Manager of the New Haven Ravens minor league baseball club (AA affiliate of the Colorado Rockies). With the Ravens, Joe had overall responsibility for marketing, sales, ticketing and merchandise functions.
Joe is a graduate of Yale University. He lives in Trumbull, CT, with his wife, Alison, and their two daughters, Summer and Lake.
