Velocity : : Staff : : John von Stade




	Senior Vice President Consulting		John Von Stade is a Senior Vice President of Velocity Sports & Entertainment. John joined Velocity in 2003 and serves as a Group Director responsible for clients such as Charles Schwab, Outback Steakhouse, Sentient Jet among others. Additionally, John is also a member of the company's Operations Management Group (OMG), whichis charged with managing the day-to-day operations of the agency. Prior to Velocity, John spent 10 years at Millsport where he directed account functions for clients such as GTE, Lipton, Sony and Disney. While at Millsport he was also responsible for the development and management of Millsport Golf as well as several other line functions including PNM Sports, a joint venture with Omnicom's Porter Novelli. In his earlier years, John was responsible for the GTE account where he directed their activities tied to the NCAA and the Academic All-America program. In addition, John managed USA Track & Field's 1996 Olympic sponsorship program. Prior to Millsport, John spend the first five years of his career with Cincinnati-based Riber Sports Marketing. John is a graduate of St. Lawrence University. He and his wife Ann live in Darien, CT, with their three children. Back to Staff
