Reid Stewart is a Vice President at Velocity Sports & Entertainment. Reid joined Velocity in 1999 soon after the formation of the company and currently manages the agency's Toyota relationship, supporting the brand's involvement in NASCAR. Reid also oversees the ConAgra Foods and Masterfoods accounts.
In his time at Velocity, Reid has led the management of a number of accounts including Texaco, Gillette, AOL and NASCAR property consulting. In this role, Reid has led strategic planning, negotiation, activation management and measurement. In 2001, Reid started Velocity's regional office in Atlanta to service the newly acquired Cingular client. One of the initiatives Reid spearheaded in Atlanta was agency management of Cingular's launch into NASCAR.
Prior to his tenure at Velocity, Reid spent two years with The J. Brown Agency in Stamford, CT, specializing in retail marketing. At J. Brown, Reid worked on account-specific programming for several Best Foods brands. Reid started his career at MasterCard in the Global Sponsorship group working on World Cup and Formula One activation.
Reid received his B.A. from Boston College and he resides
in South Norwalk, CT.
