Customer Entertainment & Meeting Planning

Dede Patterson is a Vice President/Group Director at Velocity Sports & Entertainment. Dede is responsible for the divisional operations of the customer entertainment and event management group.

Dede began her career in 1980 in the sports marketing division of Golf Digest and Tennis magazine, managing grassroots golf and tennis programs for the magazines' advertisers. Subsequently, she worked for The New York Times Women's Magazines, where her responsibilities included event marketing, meeting planning and the management of the Family Circle Magazine Cup, a professional women's tennis tournament. In 1995, she moved to the Buick Classic PGA TOUR tournament at Westchester Country Club. Dede joined Velocity in 2000 as part of the merger between Velocity and The Event Company, where she managed the American Express, The New York Times and Novartis Pharmaceuticals accounts.

Dede and her husband Al live in northern Fairfield County, Connecticut.
