Jeff Jonas is a Vice President of Velocity Sports & Entertainment. Jeff joined Velocity in May 2002 and is responsible for Property Alliance consulting and sales. Prior to Velocity, Jeff spent 10 years at Advantage/Octagon where he was responsible for corporate sponsorship sales for events and properties. While at Advantage/Octagon, he managed the "lifestyle" division, which was responsible for developing action/adventure sports and music properties. Programs included the Gravity Games and Gorge Games as well as the Horde Music Festival and Outloud Music Tours.
Prior to Advantage/Octagon, Jeff represented sports manufactures selling sponsorships to grass roots teams and programs – Rollerblade, Specialized Bicycle Company and Ride Snowboards. Jeff started his career at Manufactures Hanover where he was a project manager on the Corporate challenge running series and Westchester Classic PGA TOUR event.
Jeff graduated from Tulane University in 1985 and from Tulane Graduate School in 1988. He currently resides in Connecticut with wife Sybille, and their children Katy and Kyle.
