Spun off from Clarion Marketing and Communications in April 1999, Velocity Sports & Entertainment was the inspiration of several members of that firm who retained clients FedEx and IBM upon their departure. A short time later, Velocity acquired The Event Company, and later, SRi (the leading sponsorship research agency) which reinforced its overall capabilities and fueled its impressive initial growth.

An auspicious beginning? You bet. But for the complete history of the country's hottest sponsorship and event marketing agency, take a moment to peruse the following timeline.
