August 11, 2003- Federal Express late
last week launched a new PGA-flavored campaign weaving
the overnight shipper deeper into the golf property.
The effort touts FedEx as "the most reliable player
in the game" and includes five facets: FedEx Reliability
Zone vignettes in all remaining 2003 episodes of "Inside
the PGA Tour"; a sponsorship of the Pro Tips instructional
area on pgatour.com; presenting status of a 2003 recap
special on NBC; PGA email newsletter content; and several
retail and promotional activities still being planned.
