May 5, 2003- The NFL has signed a multi-year
sponsorship deal with GlaxoSmithKline and Bayer to support
the launce of Levitra, an erectile dysfunction drug
expected to be approved for use in the United States
late this year. Eli Lilly, maker of Cialis (erectile
dysfunction drug expected to launch in U.S. sometime
next year) has been actively pursuing sponsorships via
its agency, Velocity Sports & Entertainment, in
Wilton, Conn.
